Session Description:

Smart Projects: Where AI meets Projects
Artificial intelligence is no longer a future concept—it’s reshaping project management today. This interactive webinar will explore how generative AI tools are transforming core project management activities such as planning, scheduling, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement.
Through practical demonstrations and real-world examples, participants will learn how AI-powered tools—like automated meeting summarizationpredictive analytics, and sentiment analysis—can streamline workflows and enhance decision-making. We’ll also discuss how these technologies integrate with existing platforms such as Microsoft Project, Jira, and Smartsheet to create smarter, more adaptive project environments.
Beyond the tools themselves, this session will address the ethical and leadership considerations every project professional must understand when implementing AI. Attendees will leave equipped with actionable steps to assess their organization’s readiness, identify pilot opportunities, and develop a responsible AI adoption strategy that aligns with business goals and PMI standards.
Join us to see how AI can augment—not replace—the project manager’s role, and position yourself at the forefront of this AI-enabled profession.

What is a Multi-Chapter Meeting/Webinar?

This is a program formed in 2023 in collaboration with PMI-LA and other chapters to pool resources and share the burden of putting on virtual PDU webinars. As of this writing, PMI-HI plans to add this to our existing programing, not replace our usual luncheon event.  For more about Multi-Chapter Meetings/Webinars, click the read more.
